Washington Watches joined the global network of Official Rolex Retailers in 1986. The significant partnership cemented Washington Watches’ position as one of the Philippines’ premiere watch retailers, demonstrating our commitment to deliver the highest standards in luxury watch experiences. Since then, Washington Watches has established three Rolex boutiques in the country’s most premium lifestyle and shopping destinations.

Hard work, vision, and a desire to cultivate a deep appreciation for luxury watches form the bedrock of Washington Watches. Our company’s story began in 1946, when our founder, Ariston Yao, opened his restaurant and small retail apparel store in the heart of Manila’s Chinatown. 

An immigrant from Xiamen, China, Yao envisioned a bold future for his company—one where his customers would all emerge from his store with precious timepieces to call their own. With impeccable business acumen and entrepreneurial instinct, Yao grew Washington Watches into one of the leading watch retailers in the Philippines. Today, the company counts over 15 stores located in 15 of the largest shopping malls in Metro Manila.

Today, as the company is stewarded by third-generation of the family business, we remain committed to our founding values of integrity, genuine customer service, and a love for fine timepieces.
